Registration Fee

A non-refundable registration fee of £25.00 is required to cover administration and induction costs for your child.

 Deposit

A deposit of fees from your child’s confirmed start date to the end of that month is required to secure your child’s place at Kids Ahoy.

Fees

Morning/Afternoon Session (08.00-13.00/13.00-18.00) - £23.00   

 (5 ½Sessions per week - £105.00)

Full Day (08.00-18.00) - £44.00

(5 Full Days per week - £205.00)

After School Session (15.00-18.00) - £11.00

Special Holiday Club Fees

Morning/Afternoon Session - £15.00

These sessions run from 09.00-11.30 and 13.00-15.30 and include a snack, drink and the activity during that session only.

Payment of Fees

All fees are paid monthly in advance by Direct Debit on the 28^th of each calendar month.  Fees will be paid for 51 or 38 weeks (day care or term time only) of the year.  We use the following calculation to take into account the 5 week months:

Weekly Fees x 51/38 divided by 12 = Monthly Sum Payable

Extra sessions will be added to your Direct Debit amount with at least 10 days prior notice.  Payments can also be made by cash or cheque whilst the Direct Debit is set up.  Please note we do not take credit or debit cards.

Full fees are payable during holiday and sickness absences.

Discounts

A 10% family discount will be given to you when there are one or more siblings of the same family  attending the nursery.

Exclusion

Anyone who allows their account to fall into arrears will immediately forfeit their right to a place at Kids Ahoy.  The child will be excluded from Kids Ahoy unless the account is brought up to date and regular payments are maintained.  

Nappies, Cream & Wipes

All children’s nappies, creams and wipes are to be provided by the parent/carer.  The provisions of these items are NOT included in the fees.

Cancellation

Parents must give either one calendar month's notice, or the equivalent in fees before withdrawing their child from nursery. This is also applicable if you wish to reduce your child's days with us. For either, please put the request in writing and the notice period will be taken from the date the letter is received by the management team.

 Working Tax Credit

If you are working 16 or more hours per week, you may be entitled to financial help towards your Nursery Fees. For more information click here

Pre-School Government Funded Sessions

The term after your child has turned three he/she is entitled to Government Funded Sessions. This entitles your child up to 5 x 2 1/2 hour sessions per week term time for free for 38 weeks.  Kids Ahoy offers a limited number of pre-school only places, however we do offer wraparound care with pre-school places.  The pre-school session is funded by Dumfries & Galloway Council.  The remainding session and subsequent sessions will be charged at Kids Ahoy rates.  For more information click here

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare Vouchers are Non-Taxable and exempt from National Insurance Contributions (NIC) for employees and offer National Insurance savings for employers. Childcare Vouchers have become a popular, recognised payment method for Childcare. All eligible working parents, with children aged under 16, are entitled to Childcare Vouchers regardless of tax status.
