Outdoor Forest Training
What do we offer?
At Land Ahoy, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and experience of outdoor learning with other early years professionals, schools, local authorities and organisations looking to strengthen their outdoor provision.
We are now offering a range of Forest Skills and Outdoor Learning training opportunities that can be tailored to meet the needs of your setting, team, or individual practitioners. We can deliver sessions within your own environment, demonstrating how to make the most of your available resources and outdoor spaces, or host you at Land Ahoy, where you can explore our fully established outdoor learning environment and gain ideas to take back to your own setting.
Rachel Mouat, our forest leader, brings extensive experience, specialist knowledge and a genuine passion for nature-based learning. Her training combines practical, hands-on experiences with the theory and confidence needed to deliver meaningful outdoor learning opportunities for children.
We understand that every setting is different, which is why we offer flexible training options. Whether you are looking for a one-off workshop, a bespoke training day, ongoing support or a structured course, we can create a package that works for you. Training can be delivered for larger groups, small teams or individual practitioners seeking to expand their outdoor learning knowledge and skills.
Our aim is to inspire confidence, share practical ideas and help practitioners make the most of the natural world as a powerful learning environment.
